Saw an ad on facebook today for a law firm called “Stormcatcher”. They were offering to take on cases challenging Land Rover on the dilution/ dpf issue. They specifically mentioned how Land Rover were mis-selling the cars which can’t be used in urban environments due to not liking short journeys.

Has anyone considered this as an option? What do you think you’d get out of it? They were effectively saying that we had bought our cars without the knowledge they would need frequent oil changes (or in some cases engines!) and were therefore mis-sold to us. Not really a class action, they take customers case by case. No examples of success on their website, I'd be fearful that they are part of the 'ambulance chasing' legal profession although I've nothing to back-up this thought. Why not use a good local legal company that are known to you or are recommended by friends? Tim
