Well, that was £1,200 well spent. OEM torque-converter plus removal of the sump and a clean, followed by some time running on bypass. Even paying attention, it is difficult to tell when it changes gear. (Perhaps unsurprisingly) much better than the improvement when I had it flushed a couple of years ago.

Yep, all-in. My local indie recommended them (Automatic Gearbox Services in Hove) as they would probably be quicker and cheaper than if he did it. A 'proper' old-school garage that doesn't have flashy showrooms to pay for, smells of hot oil and the mechanics are in blue overalls!
