Got my email also, went through the process and all seemed OK to start with but an hour later the screen was still showing 'download in progress'.

Its now 2 1/2 hours later and still showing the same message, thought stuff it, put the car in the garage and gave up.

I can well believe it.

Broadband up here is via a length of wet string rather than fibre.

Forgive me if I’m wrong but doesn’t the download take up to 30 mins then completes next time the vehicle is locked. That’s what happened on my SOTA update. Although I did activate it myself via TOPIX  16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

That's what the instructions say.

Just been and checked mine at 11:30am and its still showing 'downloading' that's since 2:30pm yesterday.

My nearest dealer is a 250 mile round trip, so if the car works its not going there until its next service - September 2020.

did mine today after seeing this thread. hadn't had a reminder pop up but download and install took about 20 mins. power off and then back on and system was up to date
