Its great you have had no issues with your car - good luck with it and keep on using the suspension as you see fit.

With most things 1 month down the road people have issues others 10 years down the road have issues, some say use it or lose it others says only when you need it, i may say it depends weather near the coast or in the mainland( salt in the air ) i say use it when you want everything breaks that's why i have a job (not mechanic ), stresses and strains happen on every part of the car over time so use as you find fit, if you really are running one of these in fear of the compressor failing or an air bag or bushes you are more than an optimist than me. Just enjoy until the repair lands. |

That’s sort of the approach I have taken to be honest since we met on Mon, it serves a purpose so will continue in that vain, I only really asked as I was sure there was some logic in an old article/post about leaving in access but as has been proven in this thread there doesn’t seem to be much to support that.

^^^ I completely agree with the above. Use it as you see fit. For some this will be regularly, for others not very much.

I also have a good excuse to use it too then - my inside leg measurement is even shorter Kev

I was going to say that now later cars automatically go into access mode once a door is opened, shows that the manufacturer considers that to be non-detrimental to the car.....but then I awakened from my dream and remembered it was designed by Land Rover! |

I was just going to say the same thing 30", jesus, I should be so lucky! #shortarseproblems The side bolster on my drivers seat has tears in it, was reflected in the price when I bought it, but I imagine that is a result of people sliding out of the seat with short legs. I try to put it in Access mode and hop out using the side steps! I am not a gainly chap. Do need a new set of side steps, though.. the pax side is getting a bit mushy. 2014 BMW 530d Touring, 2006 BMW 650i, 2018 Mini Cooper S |

my Indy's words: don’t play with it - the less you use it the better, unless you want to change the compressor |

I’m on my 3rd compressor and my 3rd set of lower control arms (bushings) in my D3 at 60,000 miles so turning off my auto access height on my RRS was done immediately upon delivery. It’s my personal preference not to have it lower every time I get in or out. 2020 SVR / R.I.P. 2019 SVR / 2016 D4 Landmark / 2005 D3 HSE |
