firstly, get the VIN and use that get the full service history from a dealer.

you can check the build specs on the Topix website, but not sure about the service history. --

dealer has sent me the vin and i have had a look on both the rnage rover service and topix and can see that it has had last 3 services at main dealers

Belts are due at the 7 year service (or the equivalent mileage), so a 2015 with 42k miles doesn't need the belts doing yet.

If it was me, then I would buy from a main Dealer and get JLR Extended Warranty. Also get a document in writing stating that ANY crankshaft related issues would be Fully covered by the Dealer In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures

I'd go the other way. I'd steer clear of LR dealerships altogether and buy the best aftermarket warranty you can - the difference in price between main dealer and others is possibly enough to pay for a decent warranty anyway.

When I bought my15 AB in march with the 2 year approved warranty I got it in writing from the dealer that they will cover they crank if it does fail.
