I’ve just had a major service & it was going to cost just over £500 but I got it done under service plan for free. Andy.

Just a thought; do you want to maintain a full JLR service history?

Aye, I've had a horrendous year with it as it has been in and out of the dealers continuously with various problems. I've managed to secure an extra years warranty (so two more years) but I'm not confident that my last visit will be its last. What I don't want is LR being difficult if I've had it serviced outside of the network when (not if) it goes back for yet more warranty work. Ferrari F430 Spider F1

When I had mine done it’s last on the service plan but warranty doesn’t run out till March 21,I asked about servicing & they said as long as I use LR approved parts & keep invoices then the warranty still stands so I’ll be getting the parts from A sponsor on here probably Advanced factors, even though the air filters are made by Mann & I can get them from my local motor factors the only difference is the LR approved ones say Landrover on them. Andy.

If it's been serviced annually - as it should be - then you should be getting the 48k / 3 year service, not the 32k / 2 year service.

Online history is a mess. 12 month service is as it should be, 1 year after registration. At 24 months it's says its had a 48,000/36 month service so now in its third year I'm having a retrograde service at 32,000 miles/24 months. Confused? You bet. Ferrari F430 Spider F1

I've just had my 24 month service today, luckily under service plan. they had the car 3 hours tops so for £780 thats scandalous, if its the same service. |

Have you had the car from new? If not you should ask the dealer who sold you the car to sort out the service history. They should not have sold it to you if the service schedule was incorrect. If there is a warranty claim there is a chance this could be used against you. Tim Tim RRS sold and replaced with a Skoda Kodiaq after appalling RR Dealer experience and LR inability to supply new cars in any sort of reasonable time frame.. |

Used Approved. I've made about eight warranty claims over the last ten months so safe on that point. I've emailed the Business Manager today asking him to unravel it and sort it out. Ferrari F430 Spider F1
