Yep - I have owned my RRS (L320) since 2010 and at least once per year have asked the question about the door open and the gong when the key is in the ignition. Not found an answer though there is a rewiring option that links into the passenger door wiring so the car thinks you have opened the passenger door so all the lights and dash indications come on (I assume it tells you the passenger door is open) with no gong.

Simple, just plug the seat belt in with the belt behind the seat In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures

Pluging the seat belt in doesn't disable the ignition on door open chime, to disable seat belt chime just plug and unplug belt something like 8 times within 10 seconds, job done.

Just done my 2016 last week,put the ign on then put the belt in 9 times on the last one you will hear a bing job done.I done it as my grandsons booster seat puts the alarm on when he gets out the car.
