I’ve done that much reading about this car I’ve lost my marbles over it the past few days ha ha.i thought the locks are just plug and play thow?i have to physically lock both doors by hand but once I lock the rest of the car I can walk to the passenger door reach for the handle with key in my pocket and I can gain entry but the interior lock switch still stays locked so must have some sort of power to the lock |

Have a look at this thread on the sister site. There’s a comment on how the new lock has a tab preventing the door locking....interesting....

Been messing on the car agin this morning and I’ve swapped out the new lock on passenger front with the one off my 10 plate sport and still getting the exact same problem.ive put the new lock in the 10 plate sport and that works perfect.so it is 100% not the lock mechanism.ive plugged the computer back in and getting one fault saying mirror short circuit or open.it let me erase the code but would come back again.so I’ve swapped mirror off the 10 plate sport too.now no faults at all but still no locks.i was hoping it was the mirror causing it but I was wrong.ill put a pic up of the mirror code but it can’t be that now as I’ve changed the mirror and not getting that fault any longer.so it’s like there’s no power going to the locks

I’ve no idea if it’s the motor in the mirror or damaged wires but I plugged a different mirror in and that fault went.i wish these locks was that simple |

With mine I suspect it’s the earth wire in the mirror loom. It happened after I replaced the glass, car would lock but mirror wouldn’t fold. Pulled both wing mirror glass out and changed the 2 connectors over on the passenger side and it all worked but get that DTC.
