Top intercooler hoses.. one is really soft. Tdv8

Hi all,

Noticed today that the right (passenger side) top intercooler hose is really soft and squishy compared to the left one. Can't see any splits. Would this cause issues ? I take it they have to be firm/solid.

Not necessarily, sometimes they can seem soft because they are old. Look for splits, or listen for air noise when running.

New ones feel soft, old ones feel hard.
I replaced both of mine and was surprised at the difference
