Well I travel between Dubai and UK on a regular basis and 9 times out of 10 am offered a special business class upgrade deal which works out around the £250 mark.

Well spotted! I have had a good look at this and its seems to start at £295 each per leg. As we have pretty good seats already, I don't think it's worth the extra. I'm sure Mrs Beanie will find something to spend the extra on during the trip . |

For the record, I was thinking £350 as an absolute minimum. But why not put in a lower bid? You never know your luck and it will feel like a bargain if you do get lucky. Only danger is that if you have not flown business before then, just as you enjoy your pricier premium economy now, it's hard to go back to lower seat levels when flying long haul, especially if you are tall, creaky, fussy or all three. I am both tall and creaky, but having flown with them before am OK with the size of the cattle class seats and having the extra legroom seats should solve the actual comfort issues. The website has a slider scale which starts at £295, so no cheeky offer available. |

A London to Singapore upgrade to Business Class at £295.00 is an absolute bargain, don't hesitate book it. You get to use the Lounge at Heathrow saving money on refreshments and reading material. Great drinks selection as well. Then on-board the experience is on another level over premium economy. Good food and drink, great video screen and then stretch out for a sleep on the bed.

It all comes down to how important the flight experience is to you. There is nothing wrong with economy with better legroom for a few hours and even at the prices quoted, it adds up for both of you.
