advice please on updating maps on 2019 rrs

Morning all, I need some help please on updating the map software on my 2019 rrs. I did this just after getting the car in Sept with no problem but now I can't do it.
Firstly I got a message on the info screen in the car to say a map update is available. I then went into the update page on the incontrol route planner & logged in, found my vehicle, clicked on it & got a message confirming an update is available. I then clicked on" download map", & this is where it went wrong. I got a square appear on the screen which said, "You'll need a new app to open this heremapdownloader. Look for an app in the app store. Underneath is a box which states "always use this app".

I did this but the app store states there is no app available, & I can't get past this step.

On my computer I have a Land Rover in control touch map updater. But, when I try to open it it tells me " An incontrol Touch Map SD card is required for map updater to continue. Please insert the SD card supplied with vehicle." I don't recall being supplied with an SD card. Now, I have updated once on this car and several times on the old one with no probs.
Can anyone assist?

If you a talking about a 2019 car ( not 2013 or 2015! ) then the app is downloaded from the web page.

On your computer log in to the route planner page and then click on Maps & Services.

Then click on the Europe map and follow the instructions. 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled

2022 HSE Dynamic P400e

2017 Discovery 3.0 HSE Silicon Silver Nimbus interior and a few extra toys SOLD

2013 HSE Black, Orkney Grey, Ebony Seats and Ivory Interior SOLD

2006 HSE

Plus a few other cars inbetween!

Hi jimbg. thanks for response. I've tried again today and all is working correctly as it did last time I updated.
Don't know why I was getting the odd messages when I tried to update over the past week.

Is anyone able to provide any guidance on USB memory sticks that are recognised by the vehicle? I've downloaded the maps successfully onto a variety of USB memory sticks but they never seem to be recognised by the car unless I'm doing something wrong (although I am following the instructions shown on the website)

Interesting... I'm using a 64GB SanDisk Cruzer. Did you format it using any specific file system?

Just tried a quick format in exFAT format but no difference. Could try NTFS but not sure that would work?

How long does it take for the car to recognise the USB memory stick? I've waited about 3-4 minutes but nothing popped up
