My wife drives the RRS nromally and she has the seat quite differently from mine (a lot higher and a lot further forward). When I open the door and press my memory position the seat does not move fully to my position until the door is closed and the ignition turned on. This makes it very hard for me to get in.

The dealer tells me this is due to the easy entry being active and the only way to get the seat to move to the memory psotion is to turn the easy entry setting off.

This would seem a very silly situation as what is the point of having memory seats to first get into the car.

Any help please?

I think your dealer is correct, its 'easy entry' or the memory seats.

It's something I like on my BMW, it remembers the seating for each driver (key holder) so if I unlock the car, it's set up for me (seating, radio stations, air con etc) and if Mrs Bean unlocks with her key it has her settings.  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

How can I turn off easy entry, to take advantage of using two key settings.

on my2007 lazy entry is on, lazy meaning you don't have to press a button on seat but works as well, the lazy being the remote unlocking of car cause the seat to go to the position it was last in when that remote was used, works for each remote - in theory
