Seat covers? Which btw, if you do get buy them from Inka directly. They’re the OEM brand for JLR and significantly cheaper than genuine.

I use Zymol leather cleaner and leather treatment. After 8.5 years it still looks like new apart from the minor creases in the front seats (bases) which are unavoidable. I treat it once a month or when it has been to the dealers. |

Gliptone leather cleaner and feed is good too - they also sell leather scented air fresheners to help make the car interior smell like you have new leather. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Unfortunately I cannot remember the source but it was a leather manufacturer site talking of care. What they said (my interpretation) was modern leathers are treated from the factory for life to prevent drying out and the waterproofing making these expensive creams and oils pretty irrelevant anyway as they can't get past the waterproofing. I guess that's why manufacturers recommend nothing but a vacuum and damp cloth to clean.

Lots of folks swear by a dilute solution of Woolite to gently clean modern leathers for the reasons laid out in last post.

Dr Leather also does a product called Dye Block which is designed to do exactly what you need. I use it on my ivory leather approx every 3 months and just use the Dr Leather wipes in between. Its a wipe on leave to cure and wipe off application but also leaves the same OE finish as the wipes. |

Side steps reduce the bolster wear but some people dont like the way they look. If you are just getting in/out normally and the seats are kept clean they shouldnt wear any quicker. |
