Weird electronics goings-on are often down to either battery voltage (worth checking it, even though the battery is quite new) or water ingress into an ECU connector somewhere. Any signs of water ingress in the footwells or elsewhere? MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

I have just started with this issue and after I went through a Ford so the water ingress is a real eye opener for me. but it is very intermittent |
