Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Santorini Black

I was always charging my battery every couple of days if the vehicle was used or once a week if it was not. After fitting one of these battery monitors I could see that the battery was not being charged.

The car was sent to the dealers where they found the problem after a week. The main earth cable from the engine was loose. The nut holding the cable was loose and the cable was only making intermittent contact.

I could leave mine in Spain for 4 or 5 weeks, but always left it in access mode. Standard JLR AGM battery.

I agree that's the key. I always park in access mode and never have a problem. Car does not self level when asleep then. Also if you open and close the car without starting the engine put key in ignition switch , rotate on and off then all the screens and computers stay off.

Well I got home to find my car dead, deader than a dead thing as Baldrik would say. So it’s a good job we took HRHs car! The tedious job of finding the culprit begins. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)
