Deployable side steps

Has anyone had this happen ,lock the doors and the side steps go in and the near side one comes back out , Whistle

Yes & even more stranger behaviour than that Rolling Eyes - there is a reset button on the right hand side of the steering wheel next to the luggage compartment open - close. I turned them off & then back on this reset the system. Thumbs Up every now & then they misbehave again Big Cry 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

Mine have a mind of their own. They should rename the “occasionally deploying side steps”. Current - 2019 L494 AB Dynamic
Gone - 2017 L494 AB Dynamic, Carpathian Grey, Ivory Leather, Stealth and 22’s

Where is this mysterious button exactly? I have display brightness, tailgate and lane departure buttons but no step reset button. Ferrari F430 Spider F1

I think it’s the manual or on/off button - on newer RRS it’s in the infotainment cluster now. RRS MY17 SDV6 AB

Roger. I can switch mine on or off (or fixed) through InControl but have no reset button. Ferrari F430 Spider F1
