You don't actualy need to remove the complete lamp from the metal btkt. in the headlining, you just pop out the lens/bulb holder bit separate, just don't let go of the wiring there isn't much spare.

I think they are all on the same fuse No. 57 10amp, so probably not the fuse. The front door lamps on mine don't work first time until you have unlocked the car and switched the ignition on then work every time until car locked again, however the rear door one's work as soon as you unlock the car, strange really, don't know if they are all like that or whether it's because car has puddle lamps in the mirrors.

Re-fit the original bulbs, lock the car, leave for a few hours and then open the doors again and report back.

On my car, when you unlock the car the mirror puddle lamps come on but not the courtesy lights under the door. When I’ve run the car and open the door, the door courtesy comes on but not the puddle lamp in the mirror. So just make sure you are taking note when they should come on and not when they shouldn’t. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)
