Mine has done the same and I think it’’s the Air con. It was 36 C when it happened.

Mines the same and returns to normal when I turn the the ac off. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

I’m a bit doubtful that the a/c accounted for it because I never turn the a/c off yet the idle returned to normal after restarting a hot engine.

My S/C seems to do that and fluctuates at times, just put it down to Air Con and ambient air temp high. Normal idle is less than 900 though, but being petrol may be different.

Mine doesn’t normally do it with ac on but when it did it the other day I turned it off to check and it returned to normal idle. So with no fault found I turned it back on again. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current) 2012 5.0 SC AB. Sadly written off by a campervan 23 plate Focus ST (Current) 1942 VEP Ford GPW Jeep (Willys) (Current) 1943 Whites M16 Halftrack (Current) 16 plate Eurofighter Typhoon, 2 x Eurojet engines with 20,000lbs thrust each. 1380mph |

to get the required pressure in the a/c system (due to high demand), it will increase idle |
