It could soon be 3 points on your licence as well as £100 fine for no seat belt so better get into the habit of wearing one. 2020 SVR Santorini Black

No need for wearing a seatbelt if on private ground, these vehicles were built for offroad so that could be the OP's intended use? 13MY Range Rover Sport Autobiography SDV6 - mine

Always wear my seat belt but switched mine off because it's a damned annoying noise, same as the blasted chime when the door's open.

Could be (although I'm guessing not), although a seat belt is recommended when off road too. Accidents happen. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

Offroad can be interpreted in many ways, to a city 'chelsea tractor' driver it could mean an organised offroad site or lane where it probably is either compulsory or at least sensible to wear a seatbelt. To rural living people it could be more thought of in the style that farmers or horse owners use 4x4's to cross perfectly flat fields to check on their animals, there will always be one I guess but they'd soon get annoyed with the seatbelt when getting out/in to open/close gates when passing.

Both the off-road clubs I’m a member of require seatbelts for everyone travelling in vehicle on a club day outing off road, if the event is also being held under MSA rules, whether or not is competitive, seats are required to be worn - most of their events though require 4 point racing harnesses rather than 3 point normal belts. The club that doesn’t doesn’t do competitive events still requires all persons travelling in the vehicle to wear seat belts because the club insurer requires that as one of the conditions of cover, along with carrying a fire extinguisher from a list of their Approved makers and also a proper first aid kit. On the veteran Series One Landie that comes along are exempted, they never had seat belts fitted anyway. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Is it possible to silence the 'bing bong' that you get when opening the drivers door when the engine's running? Does my head in every time I'm trying to reverse onto my trailer and I need to get out and check. If only you could see the tow ball from the camera like you can on a FF. |

Bloody hell guys, calm your biscuits 😂 I'm glad everyone is very concerned about me wearing a sale at belt but let's just say it's got nothing to do with off roading, penalty points aren't gonna affect me, nor a fine. I am exempt from wearing a seat belt and no, it's not cause I'm a lardy fecker either lol. But I appreciate the answer to my original question lol |

Key in Audible Warning in Instrument Pack. This is listed in the CCF files but can't seem to find it to disable it using diag. tool, but it may be there somewhere, have to agree it is annoying when doing things with door open. Cheers Col |
