just been watching on youtube a guy repairing one with a piece of copper,mine are pretty badly corroded all the way,so would probably just be easier to replace the whole lot.Now pretty much removed all mine ,except out of the valve block,sprayed wd40 all over it,try again tomorrow. |

Copper brake pipes have a burst pressure of around 400bar IIRC, but the constant pressure cycles do weaken the pipe over time

Needs more volume than thin brake pipe, thicker copper pipe don't take as much pressure.

I clamped the valve block in the vice,took out the studs and tapped it of ,took a while.
