Hi all i have a 2012 rrs but iam wondering how can i up grade the sat nav to the latter one ?

When you say upgrade, do you mean to a later navigation screen/unit or to update to a later map version?

Hi iam after the later map version.

You can buy it on a memory stick and do it yourself takes about a little over 2 hours or so to upload, if you do a search there have been some recent posts on the subject, not sure what the latest L/R/Here version is but believe you can get a 2019 version from other sources.

This forum link has some details on the non official version which worked perfectly for myself and a few others - https://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic53617.html. It's about half price to the LR one. Download and activation code and used my own usb. It takes a good 3 hours from memory. Seems like it is doing nothing for ages and has a bit of a psuse halfway through. Can apparently leave the usb in situ as you do your normal thing and it will start and stop update as you do but have heard this can confuse it and cause a failure. I did it in a oner going west mids to Edinburgh.
