So. I was going to purchase some chrome window trims on eBay from the Powerful UK for £85 with postage.

I then saw others being advertised for a much cheaper price - some as low as £25! Anyway, I decided to give the cheaper ones a try, as the description was almost identical to the ones from Powerful UK except for the wipes which are included in the ones from Powerful UK.

I had a look atsthe fitting video from Powerful UK and noticed that the ones they are selling have cutouts which allow the chrome strip to sit closer to the glass - but is it worth the £55 extra? Not sure. To be honest, I am happy with my purchase.

Perhaps some of you don't like the strips? I bought them because the car already has chrome door handles and half chrome door mirrors. I thought the chrome window strips would be a nice touch.

looks nice mate, i bought my trims from powerfuluk as when i purchased the car there were some "bubbles" showing. A year on and they still look good and stayed in place. RRS 2006 2.7TD BLACK (MY FIRST RR!!!!)

Great to hear. I noticed that the ones from Powerful UK has cutouts so they fit closer to the glass for the rear doors.

I also noticed that the ones from Powerful UK are ever so slightly longer - which covers the entire length of the rubber strip, the ones I purchased are about a couple of millimeters shorter, leaving a slight bit of the rubber trim showing.

You have to look closely to notice it though.

Had i realised these two things I would possibly have purchased the ones from Powerful UK costing around £50 more. RRS Supercharged Genuine HST
