All terrain tires with snowflake

At the moment there are Goodyear Eagle Sport 255/40 R20 tires on my 2010 V8 Sport. Because of light offroading and driving in Germany/Austria in winter I am looking for a all terrain tires with the snowflake symbol. Pirelli has the Scorpion Allterain Plus and General the Grabber 3 but only in 275.

Vredestein has the Quattrac 5 (snowflake) in 255/45 R20 but that is not an all terrain tire

Is it possible and a good idea to fit the 275 on my Sport? Any alternatives?

I recommend the 275/45/20 as I have the lower profile 40 and its looks a little small
in the arch, and you will get a slightly softer ride with the 45 profile as well..double win.. ===========================================

What sort of "light off road driving" are you doing? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

That is a 100% winter tire and I would not with that in Italy in summer.

Mostly forest roads which can be very bad in wet periods.

you could also go 255/55R20, lots of AT in that size.

275/55R20 will also fit, lots of guys in the US run the BFG AT in that size. Thumbs Up --

After all I decided that the AT’s were a bit to much and choose the Vredestein Quattrac 5 SUV tires 255/45R20.

At the moment we are in the Marche, Italy. Very happy with the tires (and car) after this 1.700 kilometers journey.

Listening to Tomtom on the search for a specific restaurant we came across some pretty steep, narrow and muddy tracks but everything went fine.
