Happy with your RRS?

I am waiting delivery of my RRS and so spend a lot of time reading posts on this forum.
However I am becoming to feel I may have made a bad decision as all I seem to read is about bad paint jobs, warning lights etc, etc.

Is there anyone who has not been on a tow truck yet?
Come on make me feel I have done the right thing.

Yes, me! Smile

To be fair, John, like with all forums - a large amount of the discussion is bound to be around problems that people have. You tend, then, to only hear about the bad stuff.

But truly, the RRS is a great car. It's one of the few cars on the road that can pretty much be all things to all men. You've made an excellent choice and it's thanks to forums like this and the knowledge that resides amongst the members (and the search button!) that if you do get problems, they can mostly be rectified pretty quickly.

When is yours due?

Germany 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Cairns Blue

Yep, I am happy with my car but will be a lot happier when they sort out this transmission noise (that ZF are currently working on).

Having worked as a fleet manager and worked in the car industry, I have driven more cars than most people drive in a lifetime Very Happy . Whether you buy a Bentley, a Ferrari, a RRS or a Skoda, they all have their own individual problems. Fortunately the RRS just seems to have small, niggly problems like any other car, but nothing too major.

It is a brilliant car to drive or be driven in and is especially fun, here in Bavaria, driving in the heavy snow and watching other 4wd owners look away when you see them looking at your "wheels" Very Happy (I am sad, I know!!)

I'm extremley happy with my RRS! Yes it has been on a tow truck but only after it was smashed up by some van driver!

One you get this car you will be the happiest driver in The World - it's a fantastic car to drive and yes there have been issues with some cars but we are talking about a very small percentage! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

I'm very happy with mine, a few small niggles but these have been sorted by an excellent dealer, and its been nowhere near a tow truck.

My 5th new Range Rover and I have had very few problems with any of them. Very Happy

You have made a good choice!

Because we needed a car with 7 seats! Mrs VA would have preferred a RRS! Ner Ner 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Can you tie the au pair to the roofrack? I understand she's used to being tied down...

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Hey John

I went through the exact same thing waiting for mine!

Having had a mixed back of cars previously (R32, M3, 997s) the RRS was a big change and one that i was unsure about right up to delivery date. I knew i had made the right choice, when i was uncontrollably smiling driving it back from the showroom Very Happy

6000 miles into having it, nothing has broken and I am still offering to drive anyone everywhere!

Driving a RRS is truly a great place to be

Enjoy Something else is always something better:
