Map update on 2017my

My navigation system doesn't recognise many new UK roads. What is the procedure to update the maps? Used to be a new disc in my older Sports but i'm assuming it's moved on from that. I have the incontrol connected so I can pre heat or cool the car. I don't have a data sim card in the car at the moment, do I need this for updates?

Any help appreciated

Thanks. I did find that but it only goes up to 2015 on the sport.

This list, as you say, ends at 2015 but if you select 2015 then your car and system type, it then shows you 2018 available for purchase. For my 2016 the 2018 mapping is £169 and comes on a USB stick - just an example.
