Auto ECO Stop/Start is not working, car has extended Landrover Warranty. Apparently they want £198 to investigate why it is not working and this is not covered by the warranty?? Seems strange, anyone come across this? 2016 RRS 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography Dynamic in Montalcino Red and Stealth Kit

Stop/start battery could be Knackered but then you would have had a light come on the dash saying battery low.To be honest I think the stop/start is a waste of time,i always turn mine off as I don't think it does the car any good.But saying that it should be covered under warranty. Andy.

I believe the stop/start function is classed as part of the emissions system, so should most definitely be covered under LR extended warranty.

I’d switch dealers. They can be really inconsistent with stuff like this. A good dealer will let it slide and take the rough with the smooth. A poor one will try and charge you from the outset.

My Discovery 4 had new modules, batteries and software updates.
Took them three or four visits to solve.
All work leading up to this and the numerous repairs were paid by warranty company.

Keep at them crooks.
