Help 🙄just got my new 2010 RRS 4 weeks ago. Tonight turned it off jumped out a noticed rear suspension dropped slightly on one side drivers no warning lights and suspension has been working fine 🤔any advise would be appreciated before I head back to dealer as it’s under 6 months warranty or is this normal ? I was going to say it could be an air leak on the air spring, but if you have been driving it just before hand, it's more likely to be the height sensor is not calibrated correctly.
Put the car on level ground, and measure the distance from the centre of the wheel directly up to the bottom of the wheel arch. They should be the same, across the axles. I can't remember what the spec is, but a quick internet rummage will tell what it should be.

This is setup with either the dealer kit, or the IID Tool. If the sensor was on it's way out, the computer notices that it is getting strange readings from it and will tell you, so sounds more like it just need setting correctly.

Mine does this sometimes. No issues, it’s just doing the automotive equivalent of adjusting its underwear. But I understand if you want to be safe rather than sorry given warranty expiration.

It's just levelling itself up. Perfectly normal.

My driveway is sloped and when I park with the nose of the car facing downwards, it's always drops at the rear after a few seconds. Kev

If you read the info on the air suspension it’s quite an eye opener. I can’t remember the exact detail but the suspension ECU monitors the suspension after ignition off every hour for a period and re-adjusts to level. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

One reason why you should lower to access height before switching off the car - the system then goes in sleep mode after a while shutting down all the systems saving battery drain. If you leave the car at normal height the system thinks you will be coming back to the car soon and stays awake, ready for a quicker get away. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

It does this amongst other things, but guess if in access mode would not do it as already at its lowest. Always thought when car locked after a few minutes the whole car went to sleep.

Periodic Wake-Up Mode.
When the vehicle is parked, the air suspension control module 'wakes up' two hours after the ignition was last
switched off and once every twenty four hours thereafter. The vehicle height is checked and if the vehicle is not level
within a pre-set tolerance, small downwards height adjustments may be made automatically.
