L320 Rock Sliders

I managed to re-shape the bottom 3" of a door whilst off-roading. There seem to be a lot of reasonably-priced rock-sliders/tree-sliders for the D3 but no sign of any for the L320.

Has anyone:

a) Cut-and-shut D3 sliders, or

b) Made their own?

NB: In this list there is no '"option c), Learn to drive". Those pesky tree-stumps like to camouflage themselves and wait in ambush.

I believe that Max is working on it.
He bought a RRS few month ago, so he's got motivation.

I converted my diesel RRS to run on an environmentally friendly mixture of caribou fat and baby seals oil

Yes. Good quality stuff at 600€ a pair - the shipping costs are going to substantial, though.

Sadly not possible. The Disco has a different door bottom to the RRS. On the RRS, the door wraps down around the cill, on the Disco it stops short of the bottom of the cill. The result being that Disco sliders wrap around the cill and the stand offs are welded to the side of the slider below the door. On the RRS, the stand offs would have to be welded to the bottom of the cill wrap around slider. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I should have had a proper look when it was up on a lift this morning. D'Oh!
