Hi all, since my question a while back about recommended replacements for my Grabbers AT3's, I went for Cooper Zeon 4XS Sport 275/45/20. I had them fitted a day before the rain here in East Anglia and blooming glad I did. The Grabbers were a nightmare in the wet (rated E) and these are superb (rated A). As long as they wear okay I would seriously recommend them for great wet performance.
I also gave the old girl a birthday by getting new suspension arms & bushes front & rear, and thereafter 4 wheel tracking done, all at Proveeda in Ipswich who are prestige and 4x4 specialists. Pretty sure never done until now at 105k miles, and the difference is exceptional.

Useful to know - people do ask about decent wet weather road tyres on here from time to time, so first hand experience is helpful.

Not surprising that they're better in the wet than the AT3. Very different tyre of tyre.

Bushes and an alignment will always help too. My front lower bushes are getting a bit jaded now so they'll be next on the list.  2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Yes RRS, they are totally different I agree and for very different uses. I found I wasn't using the vehicle in such slippery situations that justified lack of road performance.
The vehicle feels so much more solid and planted with the new arms & bushes - maybe due to the geometry set up too. They want it back in 2k miles to check the alignment is still dead-on which is done FOC
