SVR REAR SEAT ENTERTAINMENT INSTALLED!

Hi. After a long time planning we have successfully installed our fully operational android 4k rear entertainment system into a stunning Range Rover Sport SVR!
We are so pleased with the entire install & the customer is absolutely thrilled. This is a rare installation which makes it even more special.

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

Hi Damo1606, looks great, really clean install.

I'm considering a standard Sport Supercharged with factory rear entertainment but no TV tuner, do you offer a service to install TV tuners to function as factory?

Thanks

Carl

Damo, brilliant install, looks terrific. Thumbs Up Although when it comes to trade in time, the same dealer will have the shake of the head & big intake of breath saying that if its not OEM it devalues the car Big Cry

Lindab, thanks very much mate.
The customer purchased the car from far away and is keeping it so not worried about that factor.
I have actually been into Land Rover main dealer before the install to have a chat about this exact same topic. They said that it wouldn't be a problem as they would sell the vehicle with it in but wouldn't cover anything to do with the system, completely agree. They also said that to remove the system and put car back to original condition wouldn't be too hard and would involve a small cost to do this. Luckily I have this covered so that's fine.
I have got a lot of orders placed for all over the UK at the moment and also for the Vogues, Velar and Sport. In a few weeks time I will do another post which involves a very exciting install
with a very well known car modification company which also has a show with BBC. Really looking forward to it.

Looks very good Damo, well done. Did you figure out a way to link the main nav screen to the rear screens?

Out of curiosity, where did you take power from in the end?

Cheers

MrM thanks mate. It was a brilliant project that has ended up with a lot of orders being placed, even for the new 2019 model in a dealership. I sourced the power from the electronics in the boot and each screen is fused. The screens do not connect to the front one mate, not a biggy as I haven't had anyone actually want it to (can't see reason).
The job ended up looking like factory and we showed Land Rover afterwards who have placed a booking for a customer and were very impressed.

Per another post, would be good to have the front TV tuner playing for front passenger and rear passengers.... hence the question about the link.

MrM Yes I understand mate. Unfortunately Land Rovers front infotainment system is a nightmare to mess about with however things may change in the future from what I have heard...
You can get tv on the rear system too but won't link to the front.
Just did a Vogue, have a look at Instagram @damovds1
