Looking at another RRS site it seems that RRS owners in The USA are send a nice travel bag on the first anniversary of their ownership! Why don't we ever get any freebies from LR?

Customer service is generally much better in the US than it is here... for all their faults, the septics know how to treat you as a customer.

First read that as "treated to a mug", initial thought was what a waste, they don't fit anyway! Spent £75k on 2 D3s & received nothing so its the same at the pikey end of the scale. Mind you for flowers, there is the nearest garden........ VA, your gaff would keep the local D3 drivers in flowers for years, what's the entry code???? |

Land Rover just held an event here in the LA area that I thought was very nice from a customer service standpoint. Instructors there to coach you through a fun obstacle course built on the field of a soccer (a.k.a. "futbol") stadium. Luxury box overlooking the whole thing with free drinks and food for the family. Lots of other fun vendors, such as Segway, showing off their products. And they were showing several versions of the new navigation system touch screen, with sensory feedback. Lots of goodies in gift bag to take away as well. So far, I'm very pleased with the customer service of Land Rover. 2006 Bonatti Grey HSE; Ebony Lux Package; Bluetooth; Sat Radio; Rails & Crossbars; Mudflaps; Nitto TerraG's; Matt. 6:33 |

So YOU're the guy who broke that! Tactile feedback touchscreen aside - it really was broken by the time I showed up on Sunday - the interface looked pretty snazzy (although Windows/Macromedia based Reboot, anyone?), just like the one on the new Jaguar XK, except for the Jaguar logo of course, and the few extra gizmos included in the LR demo, such as the MP3/iPod/USB connections... I bet that interface makes it on the Sport/Disco3/LR3/FFRR by MY2008 or so. The USB connection in particular sounded intriguing, but we will see if it makes it to actual production or if it remains a prototype.
And it's, ehm, football around here. Last edited by umbertob on Wed Sep 27 2006 7:23am. Edited 1 time in total |
