Do you have a link for the ebay code? as things aren't looking good, i'm being told it may need a new unit! Also does anyone know the part no for the sat nav unit for a 2013 Range Rover Sport? 2016 Black SDV8 Autobiography 2013 Grey Black Edition SDV6 (lasted a while but gone now) 2005 Grey Supercharged Sport (gone but never forgotten) |

doubt you need a whole new unit ! But you cant update the satnav again with the same version.... if you tried to install the 2018 update you will need to wait till the 2019 is released.

If it’s a 12MY onwards then the Nav is part of the IAM which is the CD player an expensive part new but you could get one from a breakers. It’s probably a IAM 2.1 level 1 or 3 depending on your vehicle model (1 being lower spec and 3 being higher). 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

I am having the same issues. I bought my update/USB through Rusty at Satnavupgrades.co.uk and he has told me to reload it, which I cant as the USB has apparently an older version that that which is installed. I was told to disconnect the battery for 30 minutes, which I have (overnight) and still didn't fix the issue. Does anyone know if there is another way of fixing this ? Is it possible to go in and rename the "new" file back to the old file name and then retry the update again ? This is a real pain and the current support from Rusty at SatNavUpgrades is not good.

This is just a wild idea but try plugging the stick into a computer and look at the file name. Try copying the file to another USB to preserve the original. Then try renaming the file or date and see if that will do anything. I suspect the IAM has the file loaded but it won’t function correctly and your trying to load the same file. Changing the name and or date may trick the IAM into thinking it’s a newer version. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)
