Started about a month ago after collecting it from the dealers for some warranty work. Apparently it's normal which is remarkable given that it wasn't there for the first four months of ownership:

sorry, only observation i can make is I really don't like the selection routine on the 494. 2012 SDV6 HSE (technically its hers)

Don't hear anything from the EPB but can only hear the parking sensors ?

There's a hissing/hushing noise when she puts it in drive. If you disable the EPB it disappears. If you listen carefully you can hear the noise when she first puts into drive and the sensors aren't going off. Ferrari F430 Spider F1

I would get a second opinion I have had many cars and none have made anything like that it could be in a maintenance mode
Is there not a good indie you can have a word with to get their opinion
I understand it’s still under warranty but sometimes an indie will be honest

That certainly doesn't sound right ! My 2016 doesn't make that noise. Definitely get it into a dealer to have a look at.

At one point My gear lever made a squeak/grinding noise everytime you moved it. I had a few other issues they were looking at too at the time and told them about this, they completely changed the whole gear lever / module, I was well happy issue sorted and a brand new gear lever too

Cheers, my local dealer is being a bell end and saying it's normal. Trouble is my supplying dealer is 450 miles away from home and I'm 3000 miles away from him. Such a pain. We have LR CSC involved now so we'll see where it goes. Ferrari F430 Spider F1
