That is good to hear muddy, you have gone from one extreme to another. 80mpg down to 8mpg on your mobile hut. Laughing
Just remember, when you plug your hut in on site, you are not actully charging the motor up, Rolling Eyes
Happy holidaying Thumbs Up
Just a tip for you, make sure you carry a spare pair of door mirrors. Very Happy Campervans and narrow lanes don't mix, especially when the left hooking french brigade are coming the opposite direction. Rolling Eyes
They don't slowdown of giveway for anyone. Whistle Big Cry

Cheers Ady Bow down

I have been warned about the mirrors - been suggested fit covers that break when hit and save oem - funny enough on way home from collection a white van man nearly took them off as he flew past me on narrow road Rolling Eyes

Averaged 26mpg 1st trip from dealer in MH and 23 today towing 500 home after towbar fitted.

Towed 500 today with PHEV for dealer drop off and get home - PHEV managed 47mpg towing car.

Then did fair few miles in 500 today running about and averaged 50mpg Very Happy

Ved on new PHEV same spec as mine is £455 pa, MH is £260 and 500 is £30 - govt have also scrapped grant on PHEV - I'm not rushing to buy another Rolling Eyes Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

So Muddy, what’s going to be your normal at home daily driving car? Will you take the motor coach (sorry, home) to do the shopping? Maybe you can put on a BBQ style sausage sizzle in Tesco’s car park? Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

The Fiat 500c "Toad" is the daily car for now Thumbs Up

I intend to enjoy the MH as much as possible especially if we have a good summer and get the top down in the 500 Mr. Green

Spent last summer doing up a property to sell and it's been on the market since Sep last year but not sold (due to Brexit jitters imho) - hoping it sells this year and then I'll probably look for a SUV come winter while the Toad hibernate until next year - although I quite fancy a winter trip to Algarve in MH if possible Cool

Been plagued with health issues for about 18 months now and had hoped they were temporary but starting to accept it's my age and property development related so I want to make the most of life - hence the expensive MH purchase and cheap convertible rather than another luxury car Very Happy Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Oh no Muddy, I thought that your health issues were fixed.

But I can understand that you want to get away from Winter in the UK. There are some things I remember fondly about the old homeland, but the weather isn’t one of them. I don’t even like winter here and the coldest daily max is about 15.

Brexit is a mess and things will be a bit slow until it’s sorted in my opinion looking from overseas. People and markets like certainty although the FTSE is doing OK.

Seems like the motor coach will be just the job. Laughing Laughing Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6
