Ive just had another movement alert & it looks like it could be a dealer that bought the car & that's why it was saying it was for sale at the 42k they gave me for it,,i didn't realise you could buy vehicles from LR at the price they allowed on them or I would have tried buying mine at that price & then put a warranty on it myself.

Not sure what you mean Andy. Are you saying you can buy them for the price given for the trade in. If that's what you are saying, how do you know what the trade in price was??? |

Because I traded it in & they gave me 42k for mine then it went on their site for 47.5k for a few week then it went down to 42k the day it sold,so im wondering if your a trader they let you have them for the price they have allowed the customer but you don't get the 2 years approved warranty ect. Andy.

There’s not a lot of margin in that car! If I was going to buy that car I would want to negotiate some discount - maybe £43k? That means the dealer is only making £1k plus they have to prepare the car and provide a warranty etc. They must be making next to nothing? |

That’s exactly what I was thinking,I cannot see LR selling it for less than they gave me & it did end up showing on their site the day it sold for 42k.I don’t know why LR only kept it about 5 week before moving it on as their isn’t many SC’s for sale.Unless the garage selling it know is hoping new buyer takes finance on it & they get a decent commission off that. Andy.

Tim,im guessing the 2nd dealer gave LR 42k They allowed me as that’s what it was on their site for the day it sold.I cannot see LR selling it any cheaper.It dropped from 47.5 to 42 in one drop. Andy.
