Remember the mp3 is just the container, Many codecs are used with converting to mp3 . I found that many "Downloaded" mp3s using some weird Chinese codec that didn't work in my Sport. I had to re-encode them with Lame encoder on Audacity and they all worked fine Give that ago. Mines a 2012 so possibly the same Infotainment system as yours . My money will be on the encoder used ! |

Thanks all for the suggestions. It's possibly the converter I used. All the originals were converted from MP4 to MP3 using 'Ummy'. The latest were converted using 'Convertilla' as I'd run out of free conversions for 'Ummy' and I'm too mean to pay for software. Might try to find an alternative and see if that makes any difference. |
