Hi,

Thinking of fitting wheel spacers to bring my wheels out a bit and fill up the arches. Anybody know what is the best configuration for spacers on 22s?
Also considering powder coating my wheels black.....opinions please

I personally don't like them but I did have some on a previous car,

Get good ones no cheap ebay ones..

The easiest way to work out what size spacer you need,

Get a long straight edge and rest it against your arch,
in line with the centre cap on the wheel, to the floor,
make sure its straight and then measure the distance from
the inside edge of the edge and the current tyre location,
the gap is the Max distance you can go without pertruding
beyond the wheel arch, (this is frowned on)

do this on front and back as the gaps are normally different
between the front and back..

Leave them silver, please, just about every RRS for sale here has the wheels sprayed black including my ex SC. It looks cheap in my opinion if it’s not OEM. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

Go for black wheels & 30mm spacers on the rear & leave the fronts as is,,ive got 30mm spacers on mine but my off set on the wheels is 45 instead of the 53 standard so my wheels stick out 8mm more before I fitted the spacers.Ill take some pics later & post them from the rear. Andy.

These are the spacers I used,,i only fitted them on the rear & a friend bought the other 2 for his L320,,i know they say they are for fitting the L320 but they are same fitment as L494

Silver gets my vote. You see the style & definition of the wheels. The black does nothing to enhance the car.

Apple in their wisdom decided to add an additional tag to the image metadata to remember which way you were holding the phone. So when you look at it again IOS "knows" how to display it.

Unfortunately that is not part of of the international standard for the image format.
