Ex Army, 1 owner but multiple drivers as it would be a pool car & they are all driven very well as we know. No thrashing when cold, no max revs in low gears, tyre pressures & oil must be ok as previous driver must have checked it, so I don't have to. Yes a pleasure to be the next owner, probably a close second to police cars & camouflage is nicer than stipes with holes on the roof.
Bargain !!!!

But the most I can loose is £3k, an so far the cars been perfect, inside and out. If it goes bang then hey ho. But for £3k....

So hey ho if it goes bang you can buy another for another 3k so if you buy 3 a year that’s the same as what you loose on a RRS over a year,,,,& your driving around in a skoda  Andy.

Fair’s fare (oops, “fair”! - a genuine slip up ) like most Superb’s, it’s likely to have had only two or three dedicated drivers. Lots and lots of different passengers though...

For those wanting to spend Passat money to get a very worthy “dad’s” car, with big rear doors and a lot of boot and rear seat space, it makes a rarely strong case for itself At least, in this case, it won’t have spent 250,000 miles driving drunken bums to and from the kebab shop but, just like the equally worthy and unflash diesel Montego saloons before it, it’s likely to have been used to chauffeur the officers around. For those purposes, it’s probably been kept clean and tidy too.

As such, it’s near very to be a good and practical buy. If the OP hadn’t phrased his first few posts (and especially the thread’s title) so atrociously, he’d have probably got a lot of grudging respect for an innovative and inexpensive way to buy a lot of generic saloon car, with lots of rear seat space, for not a lot of money  A Fatty owner, just dropping by

Yep, ex Lex Autolease or White fleet as they are called in the military. They do get trashed but the MOD pay for repairs.
