Well i picked my replacement SVR up on Tuesday to replace the 2018 SVR that i had no end of issues with and 2 days in this is building its fault list rather rapidly!

Tuesday afternoon:- noticed the poor paint to the drivers side inner door skin, the line in the paint to the rear bumper along with a mark to the rear bumper, either the bootlid or the rear bumper is poorly aligned as the gap on the right is much bigger than the left.

Wednesday morning:- started it up and the drivers seat went to highest position then decided to keep sliding forward to try and crush me into the steering wheel, bearing in mind I'm 6ft 2 tall!

Thursday morning (today):- moved the car off the drive started fine, went back to it 10 mins later and would not start at all, not even the dash would light up, got out of the car tried locking and unlocking to no avail, had to wait 30 mins before the car would start which caused me to be late for my meeting so not impressed at the moment!

Seeing as my first car was faulty you would expect Land Rover to really try and get it right on the replacement vehicle but it seems the quality control is set at zero!

Is it too much to ask for a working car! I have resigned myself to the fact its going to have small electrical niggles but not starting is a bit of a take 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR arrived but now rejected!

Take it back and pester them. Explain that this is the replacement vehicle after your last escapade as they probably won’t remember you and they’ll care even less.

The tailgate on my 17 V8SC was misaligned just like yours. The service advisor and dealer agreed. They wanted to send it to the body shop however, I didn’t want to make a bad situation potentially worse and by that stage I had already given up and decided to get rid. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

Maybe its a cunning ploy to up the sales figures, hoping you will reject it then its another one on the used market.
Wonder what the record of the number of subsequent rejections stands at. Seriously this is ridiculous, phone Land Rover direct to see what they will do (probably nothing) but its worth a try.

Time to take your money elsewhere if you're not happy after having already rejected one. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I’d give it a good long run out and back, let the battery get a full charging, let it all bed in and let the software boot up and use it loads.

The car has never been run, aside I’l bet a lot of very short start stop journeys, where the computers have never had anchance to boot upmandnshut down etc.

Then see how you get on. LR paint can be crap.... Gone:

Paint on mine is perfect, not one blemish. My old RRS also had perfect paint. Maybe i,m just lucky.

I do keep the car on a trickle all the time as well , which i do believe helps keep a lot of the problems away. SVR 2018 in Santorini Black.

The car has gone back to the dealership, they have realigned the rear bumper, they are going to have to spray the complete drivers door and bootlid but are waiting for the process on how to paint it due to being Madagascar Orange, really concerned that it’s not going to match!  2018 Range Rover Sport SVR arrived but now rejected!

Just to double check, surely the car would have to be returned to SVO to do the paint as it is a premium palette colour from the SVO range.
Personally i would not let them take it to a normal paint shop to get it done.

You have been messed around and let down too much to expect anything less, in my opinion.
