I completely agree about the price but Jaguar did the same with the F Type, over priced them and then (and now) simply cannot shift them without massive discounts (and the possibility to order a “used” one with 10 miles on the odo from the factory!) Then again I just don’t see how JLR reckon the RRS HSE Dynamic is an almost £80,000 car. I had a launch day delivered RRS in May 2005 that cost £42000 with a couple of options on it, my next one was a TDV8 HSE with a list price about £50,000 but I purchased a 2007 car a week after 2008 MY was announced and bought a car that was exactly what I was looking for from dealer stock at a whopping discount, unregistered, undriven. Compared to my earnings those were expensive cars but JLR price hikes have been well in excess of wages increases, albeit with a few tech upgrades and a lighter underbody, but the price now is silly and they wonder why people won’t even take them on an PCP with way over market finance rates........ 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Just been onto another lease company and they are not accepting orders for the next few weeks until they move onto the new MY 2020 spec. Same story about Corris Grey being discontinued and replaced by Eiger Grey. Also interestingly, Loire Blue also being discontinued. Looks like JLR want us to stump up more cash for the more expensive colours The guy did seem to think there may be some extras like Apple Carplay that might be included as standard.

Fun fact: £42000 in 2005 equates to about £61500 today.

Configuration now changed. No Corris and ACP now included as standard. Has Meridian surrounsound always been standard on the P400E?

Yes, it's always been standard. Same on a fatty, the Vogue P400e gets the 825W system whereas the Vogue diesels get the 380W system and upgrade is about £1000 or so (Vogue SE & AB get this as standard). I ordered a Corris Grey p400e first week in February. I was told the build completion would be April 26th but now I can’t seem to get any sort of confirmation.
Hoping to get it early May but this is now seeming unlikely.
Anyone any idea how long from build completion to delivery?

Looks like they've made some changes to the P400e drivetrain. Emissions now 69 and range reduced to 24-26 miles on the configuration. Doesn’t do much for company car tax, so maybe they are just being more realistic with the range.

Friend of mine ordered Corris grey one about 6 weeks ago and delivery is pencilled at 2nd September 😮

Ordered an P400E HSE Dynamic last week. Delivery time is quoted as end of September. Did it on a three year lease in the end as it was much cheaper than PCP for me.
