Bought my car from Stratstone Aylesbury last May 2018...had a service April 2018 as part of used car prep...apparently 48k mile service done (car had 16k miles).

Now due its Annual Service (car now has 22k miles) - quoted £728.68 + MOT charge at same dealer...apparently includes oil, filter, plugs, air filters, etc

Is this a reasonable price ?

Waiting to hear price from my new local dealer - Grange Hatfield.

When I had my14 sdv6 at 32000 miles I got the service done at Hatfields pickering for just over £300,,get a few prices from other dealers & play them against each other,,thats what I did with Hatfields pickering & Hull. Andy.

Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

Yes, I have had the plug added to my charges sheet from the dealer, but on an L494 diesel they suck it out of the tube in the engine bay and don't touch the sump plug. Dealer BS.

Surprising that a MY 16 doesn’t have the service contract option as in 2015/16 it was so cheap an option that it was a no-brainer. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Provide Freelander as loan car without quibble.
Charged me less than half the price of Stratstone for new brake pads all round. Sorted out suspension problem by replacing exhaust filter rather than just fitting new compressor.

I didn’t realise how valuable the 3 services left, on the 5 year service plan I had when purchasing my RRS were! 😁

had ours in for its 48k (year 3) and first MOT last week all good and £54 to pay (service plan)

ISTR the 32k (year 2) is the same service as your 64k (year 4) service and the dealer gets about £200 for parts and less than £100 for the labour when its a service plan (they would have made something on the sale no doubt)

The 48k does not get the pollen or fuel filter changed but Does get a brake fluid change (well ours did)

Its the year 5 80k that is going to cost a bit, thing thats a big one.

3 year service just done in January on mine. In Finland, so prices don't compare as everything is expensive here. 1150€
And then 450€ to do the brake pads on the front.

Just had 64,000 mile/ 4yr service done plus rear pads at Hatfields Shrewsbury £1,500 this included transmission fluid change as stipulated by LR. car as only done 23,500 miles
