Dealer washed my car !!!

Hi All,
As the title states LandRover dealer has washed my car, when they were asked not to. I have owned it from new and taken great care when washing it !! ( snow foam, two buckets with grit catchers and a mit to wash it with)
Now it’s got swirl marks and the black wheels are also marked. Most people wouldn’t notice, but they weren’t there before and I know they are there !!! Anyone know where I stand if I make a complaint.

Thanks

Did you draw it to their attention before you drove off the site? If not then they will deny everything........... unless like some London dealerships they took photos in your presence before they took the keys off you for whatever work they were doing on the car. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Raise hell.

Make them get it polished by a detailer or get a quote and inform them that's the cost of rectify the damage the caused by not following your instruction and you'll want reimbursement.

I've had this even after placing two stickers in the car in the driver's line of sight. I said if they didn't pay I'd make a small claim court case to recover the money.

Ring their Dealer Principal (or whatever the top chap calls him/her/itself) on Monday and ask for the company's insurance details.

Can you prove the marks weren't there before? Can you prove you told them not to wash it?

If not, you're wasting your time chasing them. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I used to always walk around my RRS with the service manager pointing out that there were no marks on any of my wheels, and the paintwork was scratch free. DO NOT WASH THIS VEHICLE sign hanging from the rear view mirror. Also noted on the job sheet.
