That is amazing that it needs to have such a convoluted process to save energy as my Countryman managed to recover 20 miles in a 60 mile run from Edinburgh to Home via Stirling in its “save” mode last Friday - OK it’s not the most efficient way to charge the battery but with a real life electric only range of 21 miles in warm weather it helps. Fortunately I can charge at home on a domestic socket in 3 hours, 16 miles into town and park on a free public charger with free car parking as well because it’s a low emissions electrified car, and go shopping and come back to a fully charged car ready for the drive home as the public chargers are fast charges so a fill up takes just under an hour 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
