Hi,
agree with above, reject the first offer as "does not represent true value of the car" and try to offer some comparisons

I would be going for "I will keep the salvage for the £300.30 but the settlement offers needs to be increased"

looks like he could end up with keeping the car for £300 and £2k+ in his pocket Thumbs Up who mentioned Uni life/beers Mr. Green

Be carefull Question as they have offered a settlement the car may well be NOT insured now and can not be used until any repairs done and new MOT passed Question

Thumbs Up Porsche Cayenne 2022
gone Porsche Cayenne 2020
gone Corris Grey HSE Dynamic 2016
gone Ipanema HSE lux 2010
gone Rimini HSE 2005
!!

Just an update - Son decided to take the insurance payout and is currently driving a high spec Astra provided by insurer while he finds a replacement - he better not get used to it as it's out of his price range Rolling Eyes

Punto went this morning to salvage who advised me we can buy it back as they auction them but don't think there is any point now Confused

Out of interest I checked out their website and came across a 2018 RRS at £43k done 2k miles this morning but expect it will go for more Shocked

Can’t see much wrong with it but if it’s covered in small dents they maybe won’t show well on black. Must be a reason they have not been dent mastered. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)
