Got a phonecall from a salesman this morning for a Q7 from Audi (who are down the road), then he just popped in to see me at the office in the Q7..

Very nice piece of kit to be fair.. not that ungainly and monstrous in the flesh. .. looked small in front of the A8.

Not to my taste I have to say... have seen a couple on the roads. I expect you could get used to it unlike the Cayenne... and it's nice on the inside

I had a good look around a couple of Q7's at the Royal Berks show the other weekend. I like them too.
There was also the new Merc GL on display. This is very nice too. Better than a D3 in many ways. Electric folding seats on 3rd row is a nice touch, which saves climbing into the back to fold them up or down. Costs £51,675 to £65,720 though and that's without any options!! Matt

RRS ownership for 1 yr, then D3 for 2 yrs. Then cut back to old bangers and working my way back up through two Peugeots in 6 months. Now got Saab 9-5 2.3t and enjoying the performance!
