Wont mention the name of the dealership but they are the only Land Rover Jaguar dealership in Southend Essex

I bought my previous Evoque from Land Rover Chelmsford dealership some years back but i live in Southend. After a few weeks of picking up the car, the new dealership in Southend opened (in temporary location) so i took advantage to get some new car snags sorted…basically when i picked up the car after sorting snags the guys cleaning the car crashed it into another…so car had to be fixed over a few weeks more!

Based on that experience, i bought my new Range Rover SVR back at the Chelmsford dealership and picked it up last July'18. After some 8 months i have a few minor snags and the Southend dealership has now moved into some swanky huge new premises … so i thought ive give them a second chance, given they are on my doorstep! lol

So gave my car to them last Thursday, expecting 1 day is all they need, i call them thurs evening and the guy couldn't tell me how they got on as no news from service shop, so i said they can keep another day. Don't hear anything until 4.30 friday and they call and say huge apologies but they didn't get any time to do anything as were too busy!!!!!

So they had my car for 2 days and did fukc all , how can this dealership then be taken seriously and expect to retain customers with this appalling track record…shocking MY18 Range Rover Sport SVR (18' - current)

Fairly standard LR dealership stuff sadly. They'll have been prioritising the big profit servicing (change a filter and the oil, charge several hundred quid for half an hour's work) rather than the potentially slow, low profit, other stuff. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Terrible service from a main dealer. I too have had problems with this dealership in terms of works carried out on my last SDV6 consequently I cancelled all further services with them. I now use a good JLR Indy: DS Automotive in Progress Rd Southend Much cheaper, quicker, better communication and all round better quality of service IMHO! Cheers Laurence.
