I went to Sunderland for the power boat racing, we watched it by helicopter, it was really good, and it was a freebie, good old HM Plant.

aljo I hate to tell you this but I've been down to the factory THREE times in Sir Anthony Bamford's helicopter for VIP visits, the last one a couple of months ago, and I had a spare seat!!!

Caz, love it, good people (Friends) lovely countryside shame about the Marsdon rock, used to eat in the pub in the cliff face all the time. I lived walking distance from the swing bridge on the tyne but had a mate who lived on the outskirts of Sunderland so spent a lot of time down there too??

normally see a lot of rrs on the road but very few today noticed a few signs saying there is a landrover show at peterbrough but didnt catch the dates

I think Smarticus is after organising a meet for us North East members, but I'm not taking my 'soft as putty' alloys off road. Still would come to show my support though!
