@Cornishman
I am living in Switzerland and here we have the BP Ultimate Diesel. It is FAME free
I live in the near of the Austrian border. They have their OMV Maxx Performance Diesel. Also a FAME free Diesel. I hardly try only to fill up one of these two.
The OMV one is, based on my searches, better for cold starts and has a better lubricity of the high-pressure pump

The point is, that Biodiesel has a heat point above 100 degrees Celcius. If you have diluted oil, the oil will not often have a temperature for longer time above 100 degrees, so that the Biodiesel could "burn" and turn into gas...

With FAME free Diesel this problem doesn't occur. The performance Diesel has an optimized burn temperature so that Diesel in oil could "burn out".

That's all based on my searches and researches in internet. The few Swiss francs on one full fill up is worth for me... Range Rover Sport HST D350

Many thanks for the info, I also use BP ultimate here as I hope the higher cutane number would help to burn off the fats that are probably added here , but can find little information from supplies ref: the 7% bio fuel added on instructions from our government, you are lucky.

@cornishman
Here in CH every gas station has to show that up to 7% biodiesel may contain in the diesel
All normal diesels have the FAME component. Diesel like BP ultimate and OMV Maxxperformance have the HVO component. HVO is better then FAME for the motor Range Rover Sport HST D350

As I am writing from Switzerland, I will check how much it costs here. I suppose it will have a "Swiss" price... Very Happy

Sorry to hear - is it car or dealer related or bit of both ? MY16, 3.0D HSE Dynamic, Barola Black, TV, Rear Entertainment, Opening Pan Roof, Meridian

@gtr_skyline

No not dealer related
Usually, in Switzerland car parts are more expensive compared to Germany for example.
I am a bit a "car care freak" and some care products I order from Germany because either they are much cheaper or you can't order it here... Range Rover Sport HST D350
