AFS head light problem

Just bought car and it’s been upgraded, adaptive head light yellow warning light on ,I removed headlights found only one ballast on bottom of light but my car as cornering lights and adaptive lights called Land Rover and confirmed I do have adaptive lights so I have none AfS lights fitted if I remove the old lights and buy the Ome led style AFS lights with the adaptive lighting will they work or will the adaptive lights reject the lights due to not being proper Land Rover the ones fitted now are working fine apart from the adaptive not working but I would like to remove this earring light of my dash or can the adaptive be turned off completely

I have the same issue and just want to know if I can disconnect the warning light on the dash as I don't need afs so I don't care that the upgraded lights don't have it! Hoping I can just unplug something so I don't have to see that flashing light

I have been in phone to the firm the makes the lights and the adaptive lights will not work unless the car is from 2010 you can’t turn the adaptive warning light off as the car is picking up a fault I don’t no why there selling the lights as 2005 /2010 upgrade if they don’t even work correctly as none of the ads say the adaptive lights will not work also I have adaptive lights with cornering light and the cornering lights have burned out useing the h8 35
Watt that’s recommended so only use led bulbs

There is a you tube video that says using the Gap IID tool you can turn the afs to 'not fitted' and then the warning light doesn't appear

Going to try and get this sorted!!

In my experience with LR diagnostics, if the CCF doesn’t show it fitted, it won’t BIT it through the CAN bus and therefore won’t find errors. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

My rrs has the autobiography kit fitted s on originaly (I believe) it had afs but with the new lights it doesn't have this so the computer is confused and throwing up this fault so after watching the you tube video I wondered if it would work on mine and turn off afs it's a 2008

It’s got to be worth a go trying to turn it off. I’m pretty sure it would work.

It’s not the same but I recently turned on rear seat entertainment in the CCF and I lost The Tv signal and had 2 RSE fails for the screens. No surprise as I don’t have RSE! I turned the option off in CCF and Tv has reappeared and after clearing the faults they didn’t come back. It should be the same for AFS, turn it off in the CCF and the car won’t do a BIT for the AFS. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)
