You could always crawl underneath and have a look at the diff, it will have wires going to a electric motor bolted on the side/top of it if you have, but unlikely I would think as relatively rare and expensive option.

The rear diff always shows a green padlock on the original RRS unless actually locked, even if no locker is fitted. On the facelifted version, they removed the rear locker logo unless the locker is actually fitted. Which makes sense.

plug your VIN in Topix, and it will tell you exactly how the car was configured from the factory |

I think they have removed a lot of stuff off topix now for earlier vehicles an no longer tell you much.

My 2012MY doesn’t have the module behind the left side panel in the boot so doesn’t have the locking diff but I’m pretty sure I still have the 2 green padlocks on the 4x4 page. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

My 2012 doesn't have the rear locker and doesn't show any lock symbol, green or otherwise, over the rear axle. It's possible there were different versions of the display graphics/software around back then of course. This is Land Rover, after all! |

All Factory HSTs and G4 cars had them as standard so I believe, was an option on all others, was around £950 for the option at the time so I wouldn’t think many ticked the box 2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black

I think only the factory HST had the locking rear diff. The dealer supplied HST-kitted versions didn't. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I have the wiring in place but no module or diff so I wonder if the lock symbol is present with those that had the wiring just in case. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current) 2012 5.0 SC AB.
